Poo Sao is a Lao chat site using scripts for the web that will allow an unlimited number of people to chat at the same time. It lets you hold real-time conversations in a chat room. User's log in, and then can type what they'd like to say into a text box, and click a button. Topics of conversation can be easily organized into an unlimited number of rooms. The chat works with "a not too old" version of Internet Explorer and Netscape brower. Help On Chatting To Post A Message Type in whatever you would like to say in the message field of the form and press the "Talk" button and your message will be added to the chat room for all to see. To View New Messages Press the "Listen" button and the most recently posted messages will appear. To Change To Another Room Type in the name of the room where you want to go and press the "Listen" button. Chat room names are case sensitive. For example, "spa" is different from "SPA" so just make sure you type it correctly. HTML HTML commands can be used in your messages but Java and Javascripts are disallowed. To Post A Picture You can post a picture to any chat room. To post a picture, use the standard HTML picture syntax, < img src="The url of the picture" > Private Chat Room Anyone can have a chat room of their own. To create a room, enter any name for your chat room (maximum of 10 letters) and then click on the "Listen" button and off you go. You can invite any number of people to your room. Your room name can be more than two words. If your room name is two or more words, an underscore will automatically be placed in between the words. So for example if you called your room name "swimming pool", it is the same as "swimming_pool". Your chat room can be used many times. Rules For Public Chat Rooms I don't know, just plain common sense I suppose. Please do not post any child porn or harrass other users. If you can not follow these simple rules, you may be banned from the chat room. Your IP address is logged in case there are trouble makers, however your IP address is not displayed in the chat room because we respect your privacy.
